Resident Volunteers
Resident volunteers live within the Mount Saint Benedict community and work along with the Sisters of Saint Benedict and serve a variety of roles, such as:
- Acting as a receptionist
- Training computer users
- Helping with household tasks such as dishwashing
- Helping in the library and/or archives
- Performing tasks as suited to your abilities
In exchange for your service, you receive:
- Living accommodations and meals with the sisters
- The opportunity to experience the spiritual richness of prayer, work and relaxation in a peaceful atmosphere
The resident volunteer program is open to women of all religious backgrounds who:
- Desire to integrate service and spirituality in a community setting
- Are at least 23 of age and in good health
- Are financially independent, without dependents
- Can adapt to a variety of work situations
