Lenten Day of Prayer:

“On a Journey with Jesus”

March 15, 2008, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

On this Day of Prayer Sister Dorothy will pose the question: “Where am I as Jesus walks to Jerusalem?” Are we cheering with the crowds as Jesus enters the Holy City, or standing idly in the background thinking of reasons for not following him? Through input sessions, personal reflection time, prayer, and interaction, participants will be led to reflect on how each one walks the journey of life with Jesus, even to the events of Jesus’ passion and death, leading to the Resurrection.

Presenter: Sister Dorothy Bunce is a member of the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation and resides at Maryvale, Valley City, ND. She has been a teacher and has held various roles of service in her religious community. Presently she is director of the Maryvale Spiritual Life Center. In this capacity, she offers spiritual guidance, gives motivational talks and leads retreats and days of prayer and reflection. Sister Dorothy received a Masters Degree in Christian Spirituality from Creighton University, Omaha, NE.

Suggested fee: $35 includes lunch and snacks
